Thanks to a brilliant Real Estate Agent - Rashna Chotai, our home is sold. We told her our target price (which was at the high end of the local market for similar homes) and Rashna told us what we should do to spruce up the place and de-clutter.
We spent 3 very hard weeks bringing the house up to snuff. On Rashna's advice, we listed the house at $4,000 above our target price. We spent the next 12 days keeping the house pristine and moving out with the dog for hours at a time - often twice in the same day. Each time after vacuuming and a general tidy-up, we would polish the hardwood floor as we went out the front door.
Offers were not accepted until the 12th day. We had 4 offers. The best was an unconditional offer $17,000 over our target price. Rashna had the strategy perfect. A true professional is worth their weight in gold.
